Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 2026
At Deepfake Defend (a product of Constanique LLC, "we", "our", or "us"), we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by Constanique LLC, particularly in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
1. Zero-Trust Edge Compute Scanning
We believe the best way to protect your sensitive media is to never upload it in the first place.
- No Uploads: When you use our Free Media Scanner, your images, audio, and video files are processed entirely within a secured, localized edge-compute environment.
- No Storage: We do not upload, save, transmit, or analyze your media files on our servers.
- No Training Data: Your files are never used to train our AI models or third-party AI models.
2. Information We Collect
Because our core technology runs locally on your device, we collect minimal data.
A. Policy Generator Data
When you use the Incident Response Policy Generator, the data you enter (such as Company Name, Executive Names, and contact protocols) is temporarily stored securely in session cache to facilitate the multi-step form and generate the final PDF document. This data is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly create an account or request cloud backup (feature pending).
B. Payment Information
When you purchase a Policy document, your payment is processed securely by third-party payment processors (Stripe or PayPal). We do not collect or store your raw credit card numbers. We only receive confirmation of payment, your email address (for receipt delivery), and billing zip code.
C. Newsletter and Communications
If you subscribe to our newsletter via our footer form, we collect your email address. You may unsubscribe at any time tracking the link provided in every email.
3. GDPR & EU User Rights
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights under the GDPR. We aim to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Data.
- Right to Access: You can request copies of your personal data.
- Right to Rectification: You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate.
- Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You may request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions. Since we do not store scanner or policy data on our servers, this primarily applies to newsletter subscriptions and payment receipts.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer at
privacy@deepfakedefend.com.
4. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies to manage your session and prevent abuse of our free tools. We use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics (such as Plausible Analytics) to understand website traffic patterns without tracking individual users across the web.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
